Right of withdrawal

If you are a consumer in the European Union, you have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days without giving a reason.

The withdrawal period begins on the day you, or a third party designated by you (other than the carrier), receive the magazine.

To exercise your right of withdrawal, please contact us before the end of the 14-day withdrawal period:

You may use the following wording:

“I hereby withdraw from my purchase of 

, ordered on [date] and received on [date].”

You do not need to use this exact wording; any clear statement informing us of your decision to withdraw is sufficient.

Effects of withdrawal

If you withdraw from your purchase, we will refund all payments received from you, including the cost of standard delivery.

The refund will be made using the same payment method you used for the original transaction, unless we have expressly agreed otherwise.

We may wait with the refund until we have received the returned magazine or until you have provided evidence that you have sent it back, whichever occurs first.

You must return the magazine to us without undue delay and, in any event, no later than 14 days from the day on which you informed us of your withdrawal.

Return shipping costs

You are responsible for the direct cost of returning the magazine to us, unless the magazine is defective or we have agreed otherwise.

Please return the magazine securely packaged to avoid damage during transport.

Condition of returned magazines

You may handle and inspect the magazine to the extent necessary to establish its nature, characteristics and functioning.

If the magazine is returned with damage or signs of handling that go beyond what is necessary to inspect it, you may be responsible for any resulting loss in value.

Damaged or defective magazines

If your magazine arrives damaged, defective, or differs substantially from what you ordered, please contact us as soon as possible at info(at)strangeseasmag.com and include photographs of the damage where possible.

Your statutory consumer rights regarding defective products remain unaffected by this cancellation policy.

Cancellation before dispatch

If you wish to cancel your order before it has been dispatched, please contact us as soon as possible at [email address]. If the order has not yet been shipped, we will cancel it and issue a full refund.

Once an order has been dispatched, the normal withdrawal procedure described above applies.
